All life on Earth deserves the same rights and equitable, fair treatment

As we kickoff a New Year, why not start with a friendly reminder of what our collective, human rights are, as defined by the United Nations:

Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination.

Our daily actions can help uphold these human rights with and for all people near and far from our immediate lives as we move forward this year.

All life on Earth deserves the same rights and equitable, fair treatment, whether it is family, friends, or people we don't know; including pets and wildlife.
