This week I was reached out to and asked if I could assist with some Javascript data viz support for Tesla AI Day 2022. Although I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately, I managed to find some energy to spend some time providing a modest assist where I could; and, honestly, it's pretty neat and humbling to contribute to our AI team's work in this way.
This outreach from my AI colleagues really highlights the potential and impact of the work my frontend platform colleagues and I are doing on the JS Working Group front for the company. This includes what we have planned for data visualization in the Tesla Design System. I'm excited about what more we can do together in the future.
Manny is very easy to work with, and his penchant for knowledge-sharing has a force-multiplier effect on any group effort he’s involved in.
Oh, I also got a small sneak peek at the data the AI team is working with in their space and whoa 🤯. I don't know everything what's planned for the main event, but it should be fun to see what they have in store for us on Friday and afterward.
Manny has gone above and beyond the call of duty more times than I can count, always delivering on impossibly tight deadlines yet always managing to keep a positive attitude despite the relentless pressure.
