About this Post

Explore the future of personal energy independence at the Science Distilled lecture series hosted by the Discovery Museum, DRI and Patagonia.

Recently, I started collaborating with The Discovery Museum, DRI, and Patagonia Outlet (in Reno, Nevada) on a community panel discussion focused on renewable energy that will be included in the Science Distilled lecture series for 2017. It'll provide panelists with a good opportunity to introduce people to viable options for making the shift toward a more sustainable, energy-independent lifestyle today and in the future.

I'm particularly excited about this event because it touches on a number of important aspects that I value, both directly and indirectly: community building, collaboration with value-aligned organizations and individuals, renewable and sustainable energy, climate change and sharing solutions toward energy independence. Tesla's Powerwall will be among the energy storage solutions shared.

Mark your calendars as the time has finally arrived: on April 26, 2017, starting at 7 p.m., you're invited to go by the new Patagonia Outlet location in downtown Reno to take part in the Science Distilled: Batteries Included lecture.

Science Distilled Lecture Series

Panelists will include DRI researchers, Amber Broch, and, Eric Wilcox, who will give attendees a unique glimpse into the future of energy storage and personal energy independence. It will be a great, educational event for those who can attend.

Manny, we've got a lot of work to do. And there's nothing better than collaborating with people like you.
